ABOUT TUPELO MARIA E. JOURDAN, designer & photographer
I attended the University of Notre Dame and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design and a minor in Theology. Upon graduating, I set out to fulfill my dream of having my own design & photography business. I moved back to my homestate of New Mexico and began working on a variety of unique design projects. The small size of my town gave me the opportunity to explore and gain experience in many different fields.
Thus, Tupelo Honey Design was born. The name comes from my grandfather, Bill Jourdan, who has inspired my life in so many ways. He always told my sister and me that we were "sweeter than tupelo honey." Naming my business after him is my small way of remembering the legacy he has left in my life.
Now, living in New Orleans, I am working to expand my business in order to serve clients in any location.
MY MISSION
A love of all things ART and excellent timing found me the owner of my very own design business. Born to create, I set out on a quest to make objects with a unique quality....objects of joy, laughter & creativity.
